Military Criminal and Disciplinary Law
TCK No. 5237, Military Penal Code No. 1632, Turkish Armed Forces Internal Service Law No. 211 Turkish Armed Forces Discipline Law No. 6413 are sources for Military Criminal and Disciplinary Law. Some of the offenses related to Military Penalty are:
Punishment of draft evaders envisions of enlisted, hidden, desertion, reserve officers and military officers who are summoned but did not come, not going to their missions and officials, to the desert, to flee to a foreign country, to threaten the chief or his superior, to insult the superior and his superior, to insist on disobeying the order, to actively attack the chief and the superior, to resist disobedience of one of the military persons against the chief or the superior, actually impelling and inciting an attack, destroying, abandoning and losing the goods for service, issuing and submitting reports, pleas, other documents contrary to the truth, engaging in political activities.
TAF (Turkish Armed Forces) numbered 6413. Disciplinary penalties in Dis.K.:
- For officers, non-commissioned officers and specialist sergeants and contracted sergeants and privates; warning, reprimand, the part-time continuation of service, cut off from salary, not leaving the place of service, room confinement and separation from the Armed Forces,
- For military students, reprimand and lack of permission,
- For sergeants and privates, penalties such as lack of permission, installing additional services, room confinement, and ban from service.
